My teeth are stained. Can you help?

The foods we eat, beverages we drink, and daily living can cause teeth to become dull or discolored. With in-office or at-home whitening, we can liven up your smile and take years off your appearance. With Zoom! whitening, patients can have a lighter smile in around an hour. Take-home trays require about two weeks to change the color of your teeth. Call our office to find out how you can brighten your pearly whites.

What can I expect at my first appointment?

Your first visit gives us the chance to get to know you and to evaluate your dental health. We begin by gathering your history, taking X-rays, and cleaning your teeth. Dr. McCarver will examine your teeth and propose treatment based on his findings. You can then discuss financial details with the office team. Because we take our time to complete a full assessment, this appointment may last up to an hour and a half.

I really don’t like visiting the dentist. Is there anything you can do to help me relax?

Many people dislike dental visits, so they often put off regular check ups or necessary repairs. We understand these concerns and work to foster a safe, relaxed environment for our patients. Our entire team projects warmth and compassion so that patients feel comfortable throughout the entire process. For patients with extreme levels of fear, we may offer nitrous, oral, or IV sedation, which can alleviate anxiety and allow patients to experience treatment in a relaxed state. Talk to Dr. McCarver to see if you would be a good candidate for sedation.

I want straighter teeth without braces. What do you recommend?

In the past, patients who wanted straighter teeth had to endure the inconvenience and discomfort of traditional braces. Invisalign, a wonderful new approach, has changed all that. Do you accept my insurance?

Although we aren’t a provider on any plans, we file out of network claims and accept the co-pay or deductible amount at the time of service. Bring your insurance card with you so that we can get the necessary information. If you have questions, don’t hesitate to call us.
